Description
Examination of the scientific method, introduction to research skills, discussion of research safety and ethics, introduction to STEM opportunities at Queens College, and an introduction to literature (both fiction and nonfiction) involving STEM disciplines. Students who complete this course and have the appropriate GPA inDMNS (and related) classes will be eligible to apply for admission into the Queens College STEM Honors Program. Enrollment preference will be given to students with an interest in the STEM Honors Program.
