Description
Minimum of 240 hr. of daily participation or its equivalent for 15 weeks at a secondary school. School-based teaching experiences are provided that prepare student teachers to effectively teach students at the secondary school levels. Under the guidance of a cooperating teacher and a college-based supervisor, students are expected to teach a minimum of two classes. Students must earn a minimum grade of B to be recommended for NYS initial certification. Students are required to attend a weekly or bi-weekly seminar at the college. See program advisor.
