An integrated reading and writing course for nonnative speakers of English who need to improve their literacy skills. Practice writing paragraphs and short essays with emphasis on organization, development, grammatical accuracy, and correct mechanics. Includes tutoring and work in the Academic Support Laboratory. Students retake CUNY/ACT tests in Reading and Writing.
