Development of quantitative and interpretive skills in stratigraphy, with implications for natural resources and for deciphering ancient environments and ecosystems. Skill building in communicating geoscience information. Required all-day field trip(s). Not open to students who have completed 313W. This course has a Material and Transportation Fee.
