Advanced-level study of the craft of digital audio recording, including acoustic theory, musical proportion, digital theory, signal flow, and other studio considerations. Students complete short creative projects, either composing original work or using pre-existing music. Students learn different styles of composition and different technological configurations, including the tools to create and mix musical content in a modern digital audio workstation. Students also learn strategies for success in an increasingly technological environment. To be offered online or hybrid.
