Description
The course will examine primary (case) and secondary (commentary) materials on the legislative, administrative, and contextual aspects of labor law, particularly as they pertain to collective bargaining and union organization. The course will be divided into three parts: (1) U.S. Law and Labor Relations (including an examination of institutional and sociological aspects of law); (2) A survey of the history and current status of labor law and labor relations, and a comparative overview of labor law and labor relations; (3) Current problems in labor law, with an emphasis on practical application.
