URBST 223 - Introduction to Public Administration

An introduction to the field of public administration, from the philosophical, historical, and legal underpinnings of government activities to the structure and function of present-day federal, state, and local government programs and agencies. This course provides a base for the study of specialized areas within public administration includingpolicy analysis, human resource management, and the legal foundations of public administration at the federal, state, and local levels.
