Description

The Chamber Orchestra is designed to teach students the skills of playing in an ensemble (balance, intonation, listening to each other, etc.). Students also learn to play in different style periods as applied to modern orchestral instruments. The course involves the in-depth study of a few works, mostly from the classical and modern periods, with two scheduled performances each semester. May be repeated for credit. Admission is by audition.
