An introduction, using a project-based approach, to advanced techniques in the synthesis, separation, and characterization of both inorganic and organic substances. These techniques include syringe procedures for working in air-free systems, vacuum distillation and sublimation, use of liquid ammonia,chromatographic techniques of separation, and Soxhlet extractions.
