Advanced projects geared toward more individual development. Highly experimental approaches to materials, forms, and concepts are encouraged. There is an increased focus on the development of skills. Class projects, discussions, and critiques emphasize an understanding of the issues surrounding contemporary sculpture and may include such topics as large-scale, outdoor, and site-specific sculpture as well as multimedia installation.
