In addition to the refinement of technical skills such as throwing on the potter's wheel, hand building, decorating, glazing and firing, a focus on concept and content is emphasized through lectures on historical and contemporary ceramics, gallery and museum visits, and critiques. The topic and necessary preparation will be announced before registration, and the course may be taken a total of three times for credit if the topic is different.This course has an M&T Fee.
